
The
aesthetic to the technological Mazda 3 is presented as modern and efficient
compact. Those are the tricks to be played to attract many new customers to the
brand. The engine range will be completed with a new generation of engines
SKYACTIV-G 1.5 to 2.5 liters, SKYACTIV-D 2.2-liter diesel and a hybrid option
is currently only sold in Japan.
For
aesthetics, the Mazda 3 will be a compact "between through the eyes"
On the
aesthetic perhaps too many words. Mazda has used the line to follow initially
marked by the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda6 to achieve an exquisite result, with the
canons that have always defined the automotive beauty (long bonnet, high
waistline and indoor) and the risky point that has always characterized the
Japanese design. So far the Mazda 3 will be sold only with a five-door body,
although we assume that at least one body sedan will be added later.


A horizontal and sober design in the
passenger compartment
On board we
have a cabin with a much more conservative design than would be expected from
its outer appearance. The Mazda 3 has a very flat and sober dashboard, but
focused on the driver. The shows have a dashboard with a central circular dial
with an analog indicator for the tachometer and digital speedometer. The Mazda
3 also has a Head-Up Display that projects key information onto the windshield
to prevent the driver having to look away from the road.

The Mazda 3 premieres new SKYACTIV-G 1.5
engine 100 hp
The Mazda 3
will also be innovative in brand new engines SKYACTIV smaller displacement.
Will present the SKYACTIV-G 2.0 with two power levels of 120 and 165 hp. Also a
common-rail diesel, SKYACTIV-G 2.2-liter and 150 hp, which also meets the Euro
VI emission standards. The two available transmissions will be the SKYACTIV-MT
six-speed manual and SKYACTIV-Drive automatic, torque converter and a fairly
quick and effective operation as already we have seen in the new Mazda 6.

i-ACTIVSENSE: a whole array of active
safety
Technologically,
the Mazda 3 debuts new technology i-ACTIVSENSE encompassing different systems
to prevent accidents and mitigate their consequences. It will feature detector
safety distance (between 15 and 200 km / h) with audible and visual indicators,
preload brake emergency braking automatic emergency in town (between 4 and 30
km / h), adaptive cruise control, assistant lane change chime a car in the
blind spot warning lane departure detection, clearance of the car that precedes
us and automatic emergency lights hard braking (from 50 km / h).
